HYOSUNG GT 250R – 250 CC SPORTS BIKE FOR INDIA
In 2011 june this year Garware- HYOSUNG said their plans of introducing bikes in the 250cc to 400cc category in 2012 in our india. I am confident that company may offers over the versatility , it has more ambitious plans for India including the introduction of its electric bike range.
In this 2011 year only the company introduced 3 super bikes HYOSUNG 650R & ST7 , and the recently launched HYOSUNG GT 650N bike. Now the company is all set to deliver more with its HYOSUNG GT250R , 250CC model.
Mr. S.P.Raykar, Director, Garware Motors said that the bike is at advanced stage of homologation of its twin engine and is expected to be launched in 2013 in india . The interesting part about the GT250R is that the company has already said that the price of the bike is likely to fall close to RS. 2.25 Lakhs.
Though GT250R will be launched as confirmed, no confirmation has been given on which model, full fairing or naked, will come first. But with all hope the full fairing version will be introduced first. The pricing is quite high to be competitive enough with HONDA CBR 250R but you never know how customers would react to it.
Moreover YAMAHA is also working on their 250CC models for the Indian market .
