         NISSAN GOING TO INCREASE PRICE OF SUNNY & MICRA

Nissan has decided to hike the prices of Micra Hatchback and the petrol variants of th Nissan Sunny Sedan.On January 2012 all these cars will get costlier by 2%. As expected, the reasons for the price increase are being cited as the appreciation in US Dollar vis-a-vis the Indian Rupee and rising costs of raw materials & manufacturing.It may be noted that Nissan recently introduced the diesel version of the Sunny sedan and it is priced considerably higher than the petrol sibling and that means that only the petrol variant of the Sunny Sedan will see a price hike. However, both petrol and diesel variants of the Micra hatchback are set to get costlier.

It may be noted that the Sunny diesel was launched just few days ago & we can’t tell the car to be aggressively priced. However, the Sunny petrol, which was introduced to the market a few months ago is very competitively in this segement .
